I look at the whole when I draw and build a knife. I look at the knife steel and the many different materials I can use to build a beautiful handle. I am careful to make a drawing before starting work on the handle.

For the knife handle, I use pieces of wood from most Danish woods. To make the wood resistant, it is treated with epoxy in a pressure chamber. Some of the pieces of the handle can be as exotic as horns from animals on almost every continent.

I buy the knife steel ready. I now have good contact with knife makers, also in Sweden and Norway, who forge knife steel. The knife steel is often in itself a piece of handicraft with beautiful decorations.

The price for one of my unique knives is no secret - from 1800 to 10,000 DKK. The price depends on the material of the handle and the working time.

Many hunters appreciate having their very own knife. Others buy my knives for their collections, and then the knives are often used as a completely personal gift. Among other things, I have been given the task of making a knife to be used as a gift for a wedding in New Zealand.

A knife is a beautiful and good tool.
